Upcoming 'indoor' talks will be presented as Webinars using Zoom. Links to access each will be circulated via the branch's mailing list about two days before each talk. Title: The Joys of Casual Birding.
Speaker: Suzy Buttress who is a lifelong birdwatcher. She has been fortunate to watch birds on every continent. Her podcast 'The Casual Birder', encourages people to appreciate birds wherever they are found and features Suzy taking bird walks, speaking with other enthusiasts and relating stories from birdwatchers around the world and you can find them on Suzy's website.
Extra details: Suzy is a casual birder and loves to sit and watch the birds around her, or take slow walks exploring the landscape, standing silently to listen for calls, and enjoying every bird she see. Join her as she shares images and sounds from some of her favourite casual birding days, and find out why taking it slow is a great way to watch birds.
