Outing to: Killiney Hill.
Extra information: Meet in the car park off Dalkey Avenue at 04:00. Dress warmly. Note the very early starting time.
Date: Sunday, 19th May 2019.
Outing to: Pollardstown Fen, Kildare.
Extra information: Parking at the Fen is limited, therefore we will meet nearby at the Curragh Dog Walk car park at 09:00 and carpool from there.
Directions: Pollardstown Fen is 3km west of Newbridge. Leave the N7 at Exit 12 and take the R413 towards the Curragh Racecourse. Just before reaching the stands, the dog walk car park is next to a roundabout on the left hand side. For a map showing the meeting point and the Fen click here. Outing to: Shanganagh Cliffs, Shankill.

Please take note that the terrain is quite rough in places and walking boots are recommended.
Dalkey Island Tern Watch
Dates & times: Between 6:30pm and 8pm on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th July, i.e. each Tuesday in July.
Outing to: Coliemore Harbour, Dalkey.
Extra information: Our annual Tern Watch evenings from the viewing area at Coliemore Harbour.

Outing to: Sandymount Strand, Dublin.
Extra information: Cross over the rail line at Merrion Gates and proceed along Strand Road to the first car park on the right where we meet at 19:30. For a map showing the meeting point click here. The meeting point is at Flag 3.
We are hoping to observe the annual late summer arrival of terns to roost at Sandymount Strand. Wellington boots or similar advised.
